Porcelain Blue Spectrum

As the muse of our Newport Beach designer, Dana Place, a timeless and classic pairing of blue and white presents with vivid versatility, on a spectrum. From ice blue and pale sky blues to robin's egg blue and intense cobalts, for those seeking to build a collection, this legendary blue and white combination is presented throughout seven curated rooms, yet all pieces are sold separately. Styled in  Victorian, New Traditional, Charming Coastal, Contemporary, Grandmillenial, Maximalist and Cottage Core, this collection turns the archetype on its head. From rare 18th century Chinese export porcelain, onto the early 19th century English and German collections that followed, and finally including the contemporary designs that continue today, Blue Spectrum offers collectors a catalog of antiques, vintage and contemporary pieces. This color theory journey introduces transformative uses and offers unusual juxtapositions to transform the adage "blue and white done right."
