Her Good Eye has added a collective of Alexander Henry Fabrics Collections to the
Vintage Fabric Archive. These hand-painted textiles from the DeLeon Design Group,
initially created in Los Angeles by the late Marcus De Leon who began working with
Alexander, Henry and Janina Lauterbach during the 1970’s, are highly collectible. Marc
began designing the AH collection with Henry and after his retirement in the 90’s, Marc
founded the DeLeon Design Group continuing to design the Alexander Henry Fabrics
Collection with his children, Phillip and Nicole. They continued creating wonderfully
illustrative conversational designs with a collective following across the world until the
passing of Marc in 2024.
The Fall/Winter 2024 Collection was the last for Alexander Henry Fabrics. Through in-
house artists, independent art studios supporting the line, these collections were the
most googled, talked about and sought after collections of the last 30 years both in the
US and globally. Her Good Eye Antiques & Vintage, as a member of Lido Design
House, a southern California creator studio focused on emerging collectible design, has
curated recommended uses for these fabrics offering the sale of various cuts of fabric,
along with artistic recommendations for use of these designs creating works of art.
